From Ayako and Family, comes some of the most delicious jams we've tasted. Made in Washington State, the tradition of Japanese farm-to-table preserves is kept alive by Allesandra Gordon, the daughter of Ayako Gordon. Partnering with local organic farms, Allesandra produces small batches of single-origin fruit jams, in the tradition of her mother, Ayako.
The apricots for this jam arrive soft and ripened, a part of orchards over a century old. The flavors in this jam reflect this maturity, with a hint of the herbaceous bergamot and dried caramelized citrus.
