Fall Knit-A-Long! The Hallgrim Scarf, designed by Jamie McCanless!

Join us as we knit the Hallgrim Scarf, designed by Jamie McCanless! Jamie is a long time friend of the store, and his mother Jeanne was one of our favorite knitting teachers.

The knit along will officially start this week, but you are welcome to join in at any point. The scarf is a fun fall project, and includes twisted rib, cables and other new techniques. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call, email or stop by our front window.

Just a side note: some of us have chosen a slightly thinner (sport weight ) yarn for the project. We found that we could use a size 6 needle, and cast on an extra repeat of the pattern. If you would like to give this a try, you can call us or email us at the store to discuss.
