These hand dipped candles have been a traditional Christmas candle since the colonials discovered this wax on the Bayberry shrub. It takes 15 pounds of berries to create one pound of wax. "A Bayberry candle, burned to the socket, puts luck in the home, food in the larder and gold in the pocket."
