Raymay's classic Grid Ruler was among the winners of the 2008 Good Design Award, and it's a certified staff favorite here in St. Louis. The super-thick crystal-clear acrylic is printed with gridlines and halftone areas that make design work and drafting easier. There's a beveled edge on one side that makes it easy to use as a straightedge, and the bottom has a unique no-slip texture.
Features include:
- Anti-slip texture on the underside of the ruler helps keep the ruler in place when pressing it firmly against the page. When pressed lightly, it slides easily across the surface.
- Alternating shaded sections every 5 mm and large numbers every 5 cm allow quick and easy measuring.
- Transparent design lets you see paper underneath the ruler.
- Grid pattern aids lining up parallel and perpendicular lines.
- Long blank section in the middle of the ruler is helpful for reading text line by line.
- Measurements are printed along both edges. One edge has measurements beginning from the right edge, making it useful for left-handed users. It also lets you effortlessly align the zero mark with the edge of what you are measuring—perfect for measuring heights and depths.
- Winner of the Good Design Award.
