This is a beautiful simple pattern for a top-down tee. We like to knit it in a sport weight linen for summer. The tee featured in the outdoor photo was knit from Euroflax sport weight linen by a relatively novice knitter in 2019, and has been washed and dried many, many times, and is still a favorite garment. Try using wool for colder days, worn over another garment.
Knit on a circular needle, the project goes very quickly. Use a size 4 24 inch circular needle and a set of matching double points for the neck & sleeves.
The gauge is 21 stitches over 4 inches.
Required materials:
Size S: 2 skeins Euroflax Originals
Size M, L, XL 3 skeins Euroflax Originals1- 24 inch size 4 circular needles plus size 4 double points (or correct needle size for gauge)
Please note: Knit a gauge swatch and wash it to determine the correct size needle.
You will also need some stitch markers and you are ready to go!
